Ama is a Senior Partner at OK & AP. She is a business lawyer with vast experience in international and local business transactions and commercial litigation. Prior to co-founding OK & AP, Ama worked at S.K. Boafo & Company where she was involved in structuring and drafting of commercial agreements, corporate legal advisory, civil litigation and criminal defense. She was in-house counsel at a reputable financial institution in Ghana where she focused on banking, secured transactions, regulatory compliance, debt recovery and civil litigation. Ama has also worked briefly in the mining industry in Western Australia, Australia. Ama has appeared before all levels of trial and appellate courts and other dispute resolution fora in Ghana. Ama is bilingual – she speaks, reads and writes English and French fluently.
